Certain types of hernia mesh manufactured by Bard Kugel can cause complications including perforation of the bowels, intestinal fistulas, sepsis, and accesses in the abdomen. Revision surgeries and hospitalization may be required. Recall warnings for affected Bard Kugel products were issued in January of 2007. Lawyers are pursuing cases for patients with certain mesh recoil ring products implanted in pre-2007 surgical procedures.
